BAPTISM

The Bible teaches that people should be baptized to publicly declare their relationship with God. It is the first step of obedience when you surrender your life to Jesus. Baptism symbolizes life before Christ, burial with Christ in His death, and being raised as He was raised to new life!
“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” - Matthew 28:19

Scripture teaches that when you decide to follow Jesus and confess Him as your resurrected Lord, you should publicly profess your faith in Christ through baptism. Baptism is not what saves us; it demonstrates the saving work that God has accomplished in a person’s heart and life.
