But Jesus said, Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven. Matt 19:14, NKJV
At Calvary Chapel we desire to teach children the Word of God in a safe, loving and fun atmosphere. We endeavor to:
- Teach God’s Word
- Demonstrate God’s Love
- Equip God’s Servants
- Serve and Strengthen Families
Young people from nursery through high school are given opportunities to understand God’s love for them through Christ, experience fellowship, memorize scripture, and receive training in God’s Word.
The Children’s Ministry offers classes and activities on Sunday mornings (10 AM) and Wednesday evenings (6:30 PM). Each class is staffed by a teacher and a helper. Each child must be signed in and out by a parent/designated adult. You may sign your child in 15 minutes before the class begins.
We have Children’s Worship Teams that lead your child in worship every Sunday morning. Teens and adults volunteer their time and talents to minister with songs that are best suited for their ages. We have separate preschool and elementary playgrounds for your child to enjoy.
Our volunteers are dedicated to caring for your baby in a safe and loving environment as you enjoy the teaching of God’s Word and fellowship with other believers.
- Infants’ Nursery is for newborns and crawlers.
- Toddlers’ Nursery is for children who are walking up through the age of two.
Both are available during Sunday morning and Wednesday evening services.
Our nursing mothers’ room is available for families who would like privacy or a quiet space with their child. Speakers in the room and a one-way window allow you to enjoy the service.
Classes are available Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings during service times. Worship for children is included on Sunday mornings. A summer VBS is also available. We have classes for the following age groups:
- Preschool – for ages 3 and up until starting kindergarten
- Kindergarten through 6th grades
Our Youth Group meets in the youth house for fellowship, worship, Bible study and prayer on Wednesdays at 6:30. Also provided are outreach opportunities, discipleship groups, fellowship activities, retreats, and mission trips.
